For each item sold, FOR BETTER NOT WORSE (FBNW) gives a bag of groceries to a child in need in the U.S. These are the children that utilize school subsidized meal programs; we fill the void by providing groceries for when school isn’t in session such as weekends, holidays, and summer break.
ReStrung™ was founded in 2011 by artist and New Orleans native Naomi Celestin. It's a fusion of her biggest passions - art, music and giving back to the community. Celestin realized that musicians break strings often and change out their strings regularly, so she began to call on all the musicians she knew and asked them to save their strings for her. Since its inception, Celestin wanted ReStrung to be a vehicle for keeping the cultural community of NOLA vibrant and unique. To that end, a portion of their profits goes to The New Orleans Musicians Clinic.

To date, Half United have provided over 650,000 meals, and they project that through your support, they will be able to give 1 million meals by year’s end.
